This boring vacation

Hey ! I got my results ! My scores are sooo good, and I am sooo proud lol. You know what ? I got 97,2/100 for the exam of Japanese grammar and vocabulary hehehe ! Damned... It is not perfect because I got some 9/10 scores during the semester T__T. Okay stop showing off hahaha.

The vacation period is too long x_x The problem is that I do not have money to travel. I would like to visit such many places in Japan but I won't be able to :( I keep it for the next time I will be here :)

I want to see the North, Hokkaido, I want to see the South, Kyushu, even Okinawa. I also want to see the West, and the East, and... EVERYWHERE BECAUSE THE WHOLE JAPAN IS BEAUTIFUL !!!

Anyway... I only went to Nagano prefecture during this vacation. This ski trip was just amazing ! We had a lot of fun ! But it was short, unfortunately.

Some new exchange students arrived in Izumi. It took me away from my boring days... And reminded me how much I miss partying, and the Tutor Association members !!! I cannot wait for the beginning of the new semester. It just gonna be awesome. And my honey is coming !!! =D He is arriving on the 1^st of April (no, it is not a joke lol). Get ready for partying my friends ! Hehehe !

More seriously, I am now feeling how much I have learnt, and how much I am learning, from being here. I mean on the personal side. I got the impression that I now know myself better. I feel more serene. I cleared my mind. Where before it was blurry, it has now got some shapes. I do not know if what I say is understandable lol. I could talk to you a lot about that but I keep it for the coming parties where we will be able to exchange about that :p Make me drink a bit too much and I will be more talkative haha.

News

Ow ! I don't have posted here for a long time ! Sorry for that ! But anyway, thank you guys for your nice comments =) Don't worry I am not depressing haha ! It is just difficult, sometimes... I really love to be in Japan and I am sure that I will do my best for coming back later. For studying I mean, because I am not sure that I want to LIVE and work here . The women's situation here is a little bit scary for me. I am too much free haha. But, however I will always be a gaijin here therefore it is different.

It is now the exam's period... Everybody is so busy, and tired. I had never heard gambatte such many times before hahahaha XD Tomorrow is the day of my Japanese grammar's exam... You know what ? I am not scared at all. Some people think that I do not speak Japanese at all. This is not true XD lol. Whatever... I don't have studied a lot... I am too lazy... :( I hope it will be okay !
Today I finished my essay about the Yakuza in the Japanese society. It was interesting. But when read my assignment I got the impression that there is so much disorder in my text. Anyway it is over, I do not want to read and write anything more about Yakuza today (and for few days).

I need money so badly. I spent so much at the beginning of this year :S Now I think I will have to work at the factory if I want to survive. Fortunatly we have february and march free !

The coming event that I can not wait for ? ... The skip trip to Nagano of course !!! =D

Lonely Day

I miss France. Definitively.

My first times in Japan were so cool ! Finally I could discover this fascinating country ! I was so happy, and I felt so lucky !

But now I feel so... I do not know... My life is as hollow. Because I do not have any marks or any ties here. No presence, no love, nobody to say “Don't worry, here your home is”.

Everything is new, everything is different... The food, the way of life, the home, the manners... I am a western girl lost in eastern country. We are all strangers for each other, even if we say “friend”, even if it is honest. I just have to follow the others, and do my best to be accepted. And you can trust me, it is quite hard. Disappointments, frustrations...

I didn't want to stay with French people because I wanted to improve my language skills, and I really wanted to know Japanese and foreign people. But finally the linguistic barrier is really handicapping. Often I would like to say a lot of things, but I do not manage to express them in English or Japanese, or people does not catch what I mean. So I just stay silent. I try very hard to understand what the others say together, but most of time I cannot. I think that the best way to get the relation with your friends deeper is the communication. So when the communication is disturbed by lake of skill, it is... Complicated.

But anyway ! Sometimes I spend really good time with some people here. Thanks to them. So I'll try to continue to give them the best of me. Even if there are days as today when I feel desperately alone.

Obama ~ Historic Day

Barack Obama... I think this name sounds as a hero's name. Don't you think so ? He looks like some black main characters from american series or movies. You see which kind of ? Smart, strong, charismatic... The perfect figure on this planet globalized by american culture.

He embodies the change. That is why he is so popular around the world. The situation is so dramatic that peoples of all the countries gave him their whole confidence. Opinion changed from « All this shit because of Americans who want to be the boss » to « Maybe Americans can do something today and save us ». He may be able to restore the place and reputation of United States in the community of nations.

Today Barack Obama became the President of the United-States of America. By the way he also became the man of the world who got the heaviest responsability : the hope of the whole world... All the heads of state told him messages of peace and cooperation for a new world. They are all as enthusiastic and hopefull as people that they represent.

People expects him to change the world... Maybe it is a general desperate hope for the utopia of a better world. Who knows ?

Only future will answer this great question.

I don't trust only in Obama... American people did the same choice than French people did last year : to choose the President of the Change. I am prood of my President even if he is criticized by some blind, narrow-minded, naive persons. He is a strong man, clever and charismatic too. I am sure they can do great things together, him, Obama, and other strong heads of government, and push other nations on the way of change.

Maybe bad things will happen instead of good things finally. But it is only that this situation can't continue anymore.

In this early week end

Hi everybody !

I feel good these times. Good-mood, cheerfulness. I don't know why ! Maybe because of my dear Mao-chan who helped me to see that if I wait for the others to help me when I feel bad I will wait for a very long time... Thank you to be there my friend when I need you to ;) (on msn rather than in the real life lol)

A really nice week-end is outlined on the horizon ! Even if I don't know what to do tonight (I strongly hope to find that during the day :S) I am really looking forward going in a night club on saturday's night with my new pals ;p I hope everything is going to be alright... Because as you know I am actually 19. And in Japan you are allowed to enter at 20. But last time I went to a night cub nobody asked me (gaijin's way or only beginner's luck ?...)

I also have to do some important things. I am embarrassed because I need to ask a japanese student again. I have got a feeling that I am always asking them !

But I really need to get my alien registration card. I don't know when is the due date for getting it. And my japanese is... How can I say... Level 0 ?

Anyway ! I am going to take my breakfast. (YES I KNOW it is actually 2pm) I skiped the class today morning (too tired, and this class is soooo boring...).

What the fuck ??? Only one cigarette in my pack ?... Sweet Jesus ;b I also have to some shopping lol.

I am often bored. As soon as I am in my little Eleve's room I want to see people. Because there I do not know what to do. But I am so lazy ! And I am a fucking geek. Today I spent my time in front of my computer's screen instead of moving my ass to the university for seeing some friends. It is a tragedy. No... It is a fucking paradox ! Lol

Anyway... I am once again bored ! And it is annoying me ! I do not want to loose any seconds of my life ! I want to speak, to sing, to dance, to laugh, to run, to drink, to shout, ...

To you all, enjoy your life ! It is too short for wasting this precious time !

Well, I am going to do some shopping. I want new clothes ;)

Opening

Hi everybody !

It's my turn to become a blogger. I'm as a surfer, taken by the epidemic wave :p

It is especially a good way to improve my english. Because as you understood I am not from an english speaking country. But from France.

And finally why am I in Japan ???

For my studies. I secretly hope to work in the French-Japanese trades. I want to be the intermediary between the professionals of these two countries which often have difficulty in understanding the foreign other :p

That's why I came in Izumi (Osaka pref.) to study in Momoyama Gakuin (St Andrew's University) for one year. Mainly I study the Japanese language & culture here. My classes are very interesting and the people I met wonderful =D

Well, at the moment I am very happy to be here and I am looking forward to visit as many place as I can.

I'll try to keep this blog active, to express my life and my feelings. But as you know it is not easy, moreover for somebody who does not speak english fluently :p Good training.
